This complex, part of the Facilities Infrastructure Remediation Programme, was transitioned through extensive planning and testing while the hospital remained fully operational, highlighting the project's complexity and importance. Additionally, a purpose-built underground services tunnel connects the complex to the hospital, enhancing resilience and ensuring the long-term reliability of essential services amid Auckland’s growth.
