Changes include reducing the frequency of comprehensive reports, introducing a new priorities report to guide investments, and enhancing the efficiency of the reporting regime. These reforms, supported by a $61 million investment, will provide clearer, evidence-based information to support government, councils, and the science sector in addressing environmental challenges.
