New Collective Agreement Boosts Salaries for 1,000 Nurses in New Zealand
Health Minister Simeon Brown has welcomed the ratification of a new 24-month collective agreement for approximately 1,000 Nurses Society of New Zealand members, which includes salary increases and additional allowances. The agreement provides a 2.5% salary increase in the first year, 2% in the second year, and extra payments for senior nurses and nurse practitioners. This follows recent agreements with other healthcare groups, ensuring staff certainty and continued quality care for New Zealanders.
