New Appointments Announced to Health Quality and Safety Commission Board

Health Minister Simeon Brown announced the reappointment of Rae Lamb as Chair, Dr Peter Watson as Deputy Chair, and Tereki Stewart as Board members of the Health Quality and Safety Commission (HQSC), along with new members Monica Goldwater and Rakesh Patel. The HQSC is vital in monitoring and enhancing the quality and safety of New Zealand’s health and disability services. Brown acknowledged the skills and leadership the new Board brings and thanked outgoing members for their contributions.

Health Minister Simeon Brown has today announced three new board appointments to the Health Quality & Safety Commission. The Health Quality & Safety Commission (HQSC) is a Crown entity responsible for improving quality and safety across the health and disability systems within New Zealand. “I am very pleased to welcome Dr Peter Watson, Taima Campbell, and Clare Perry to the HQSC board,” Mr Brown says.
